The foundation of our company's sustainable development is the continued existence and development of the community and society. Based on this belief, we have long been engaged in providing supplies in the event of a disaster and conducting volunteer activities in the community. Furthermore, since 2010, we have been supporting the development of human resources in the field of manufacturing, which is closely related to our business. And since 2022, we have been providing products to NPO International Volunteer University Student Association (IVUSA) (on an irregular basis).
Local Community Engagement
■CSR Activities
・Purpose of CSR Activities
We strive to be a trusted and valued corporate citizen in all communities where we operate. Our CSR activities focus on contributing to local communities through initiatives such as supporting children who will shape the future of these regions and engaging in environmental conservation efforts.
・Overview of CSR Activities
Our CSR journey began in January 2011 in Amagasaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, where our headquarters and distribution center were located at the time. With the vision of growing together with local communities, we initiated regular dialogues with teachers at local nursery schools and children's welfare facilities to gain deeper insights into community challenges and explore meaningful ways to contribute. In March 2011, we established our CSR Secretariat. Working closely with local residents, we have engaged in various community initiatives, from neighborhood cleanup activities to facility maintenance and grounds keeping at daycare centers and children's homes, based on their specific needs. Today, we have expanded these activities to include our distribution center in Ibaraki Prefecture, where we continue to work side by side with community members to create a sustainable environment.
As part of our corporate responsibility, we integrate community engagement into our business operations, allowing employees to participate in these activities for up to five days per year. We provide comprehensive insurance coverage for potential injuries or property damage, ensuring our employees can fully engage in these community initiatives. To enhance employee engagement across all departments, we share participant experiences and insights on our internal platform, fostering a culture where community contribution is recognized as an integral part of our business practice.
CSR activities serve as a vital bridge connecting corporations with local communities, enabling us to build a shared future together. We remain committed to working alongside our community partners toward realizing a sustainable society.
